We're on a mission to change theirs.

PAWs Project helps keep pets and people together by providing veterinary assistance to families facing financial hardship. We believe the cost of medical care should never force a family to give up a beloved pet.

A program of Lost Pet Services, Inc., PAWs Project collaborates with The Colby Animal Foundation and a network of veterinary hospitals and clinics to make essential medical care more accessible and affordable.​​

How We Help

Financial Assistance

Applications are currently being accepted on a limited basis, prioritized by need and severity.

PAWs Project helps those in need so a crisis doesn’t result in the surrender or unnecessary euthanasia of a beloved pet due to financial reasons.

Veterinary Services

PAWs Project works directly with local veterinary partners and local emergency vets.  We collaborate with a network of vet's offices who are able to offer nonprofit discounts to help us make our donations go further -- which means helping more pets and families in need.

No Place Like Home

Safety-Net Program

We are dedicated to keeping pets healthy,  happy and home with the families they love by supplying safety-net services.  No one should have to surrender or euthanize their pet due to a financial crisis.

How You Can Help

The PAWs Project relies on the kindness of our supporters and the grants we secure to continue our mission.
 

Every donation helps us provide life-saving care for pets in need.   The PAWs Project is 100% volunteer-run with no paid staff, and all contributions are tax-deductible.


The PAWs Project is a special medical assistance program of Lost Pet Services, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with collaboration of The Colby Animal Foundation.
